Smart AHU
Description
EC Fans
The EC-motor (EC = Electronically Commutated) is an inverter-fed synchronous motor with permanent magnets in external rotor construction.
Basically it is a fan MOTOR with a brushless DC motor. Basic DC motors rely on carbon brushes and a commutation ring to switch the current direction, and therefore the magnetic field polarity, in a rotating armature.
Installation Modes
• Retrofit- Replacement Of Old Fan With New EC Fans In Existing Ahu
• Entire New Ahu Installation With Ec Fans
What Value will these initiatives add?
• LEED & WELL points
• Energy Saving 30 %
• BSC ( British Safety Council ) start rating for building
• 50 % reduction in the occupied floor space compared to traditional AHU
• N + 1 in built redundancy
• Improved IAQ on account composite blower material
• Improved IAQ with 2 stage filtration ( MERV 8/13 )
• Feasibility of infusion of UV lights
• No VFD / Star Delta Starter / Single Phase prevention
• Remote diagnostic & self analytical troubleshoot program
• Increase IOT sensor coverage point & further integration with BMS
